Digital Footprint advert...

Learning & Planning
This is some of the planning it took to create our add.  We had to find out who we were going to use for the add, we had to survey a bunch of children from Year's 1-8.  This took a few weeks because we had to visit three different classes and talk to the younger pupils.

We then realized that we had to find some smaller feet, so we searched some of the classes and found two pairs of feet for the add.

We did some research about how to keep safe online and watched YouTube videos.  We researched about how you could keep your digital footprint small.

  Creating
This project took a couple of months, but for this we had to make some clay foot prints to use as the digital footprint that was stuck in the sand.

We used PVA glue to glue on some paper social media icons. We also had to paint social media icons on three students feet.  We painted feet to represent digital footprints and each person's feet was bigger than the other which meant they had more icons on them (to represent the higher use of social media as you get older).

Filming
After hours of planing and creating props we finally started to film our amazing creation. To film we went down to the beach.  This was mostly us just walking in the sand and then at the end under the New Brighton Pier we dug a giant footprint in the sand to represent someone having a huge digital footprint (you don't want a large digital footprint on the web).

I am please it got second in the Jenny Griggs Creativity Award (MADE Awards).
